Well that's the obvious stuff out of the way, but did you know you don't have to use a dedicated purpose built webcam? Well you don't! You can use a whole range of cameras as web cams by using a suitable interface. In fact for some cases you don't even need a PC to put your camera on the web. |
So HOW do i get started? Well for a basic cheap internal camera setup all you need is a low cost webcam, a PC to connect it to, usually via a USB connection, a connection to the internet, a web site to broadcast your camera pictures to and some good software to help you get your camera pages up and running. |
This will get you going, at the very least you will be able to view the camera on your PC and you now have all the components you need to get your pictures on the internet. What you do with them, who is allowed to see them and how far you develop your webcam system is entirely under your control. For free webcam chat all you need is your camera...look here! |
