WEBCAMS PCI video capture card reviews 4 8 and 16 cameras and tested with active webcam software webcam

For proffessional and serious users you just
cant beat a dedicated capture card. These PCI
devices plug into your PC and capture high
quality video directly into the webcam software.

They come with standard BNC connectors to
allow you to connect standard surveillance
cameras etc. using standard leads and
connections. You can get these cards up to
16 way and you can use more than one card
per PC. You can still use USB device's too
when using Active Webcam software. I have
tested these with all the reviewed software on

For more demanding use there is the 8 channel version capture card which provides 8 inputs
at up to 25 FPS per camera.........WOW.....Almost realtime video from 8 separate cameras.

I tested this card good and hard with
Active Webcam and it was superb. i
had my PC recording high quality
video from all my cameras and
streaming it at the same time and it
really worked well. The only
awkward bit was that there is no
fixed back plate so i had to leave a
spare card slot cover off to poke the
camera leads through......but apart
from that installation was smooth
and the software loaded up first time
with no driver problems at all.

I also gave it a bash with CoffeeCup Webcam using the camera cycler to FTP all the camera
inputs to the web. Worked great. The only problem with the card was.....I HAD TO GIVE IT
BACK! For proffessional use......get it and use it with Active Webcam....You Will Love It!

You get a lot of performance with
this card and its definetly for the
serious user. Unfortunately i have
not had the opportunity to test
this card yet but i am hoping to
in the near future so watch this
space. As its made by the
producers of Active Webcam and
the other two cards i have every
reason to expect it to perform
